APS primarily engages in the joint development of novel high performance polymers. In this relationship, APS will work collaboratively and in a highly confidential manner to develop new materials, intellectual property, and products with our partners.

APS provides custom synthesis of intermediates, monomers, and polymers.  Compounds are made to order in scales ranging from milligrams to kilograms.  For example, over 100 kg of a high performance composite resin have been produced in our pilot plant.  These projects are handled on a contractual basis.

APS has extensive experience in the scale-up of monomer and polymer syntheses. This has often been tied into custom synthesis work. We also provide technical evaluation and support in reducing multi-step syntheses to commercially viable processes.

APS has established relationships with low cost and high volume chemical manufacturers throughout the U.S. and Asia. We specialize in importing and providing monomers used in high performance polymer applications.

APS provides laboratory experimentation in support of patent litigations. Services provided include the reproduction of patent examples including experimental procedures and the analysis of polymeric products.
